A robotic mower designed for smaller lawns with some complexity
Automower® 405X is a robotic mower designed for smaller lawns around 600 m2; automatic passage handling and triple search function allows for navigation through some complex areas and over inclines up to 40%. Automower® 405X replaces a small to medium pedestrian lawnmower. The Automower® itself is grey and has a four wheel platform, and requires its charging station to be installed nearby an electricity power source, however the machine is battery-powered.
Automatic mowing with visibly superb results
Automower® can be scheduled to mow at any time to suit; it is safe to operate around pets and children, and will stop, turn around, and mow in the other direction if it comes up against any obstacle to avoid collision. Automower® is a mulching mower, and uses 3 pivoting blades to cut little and often leaving the clippings invisibly on the ground; this in turn visibly improves the lawns surface. Automower® 405X has a cutting width of 22 cm and a cutting height of 20-50 mm.
Customise the mowing pattern to your preferences
The mowing schedule of Automower® 405X is fully customisable down to the week, day, and time – even the weather. Powered by a battery, it will go out to mow at any time you set for up to 50 minutes, before taking itself back to the charging station where it will be ready to mow again in 60 minutes. Operation is quiet, just 62 dB(A) which is equivalent to general background noise, which along with an index of IPX5 making it suitable for use in wet conditions (but not torrential rain), mean Automower® can be set to mow at literally any time.
Have total control over Automower®
A monochrome graphical display shows limited information about Automower®. Using a smart device and Bluetooth connectivity, the Automower® Connect app – available on Apple and Android devices – can be accessed to gain a wealth of information about the mower including: command the mower to start/stop, change its mowing pattern, and access maintenance and servicing information. Automower® 405X can be integrated into your smart home, for example Amazon Alexa.
Automower® is safe and secure
The blades of Automower® are located in the middle of the machine as far away as possible from the edge; if Automower® is lifted off the ground or tipped over the blades will automatically stop. Security is incredibly important, and as such the GPS location of Automower® can be accessed at any time, from any where using the Automower® Connect app; if the machine is picked up and carried away an anti-theft alarm will sound, that can only be stopped by entering its unique PIN.
What is and isn’t included, but required
Automower® 405X comes with a charging station and a 10 metre long voltage cable for plugging it in, and a spare pack of 6 blades. An installation kit is required but isn’t included; the size required depends on the size and topography of the lawn.
