Stihl FSA 120R

The hard working Stihl FSA 120 R cordless brush cutter is part of the Stihl AP range which means you can use the same battery and the same charger for any of the tools in the range, saving you money, space and hassle. With a convenient loop handle this brushcutter is easy to work with and has all the power you need to tackle large areas of grass.

This model comes with an Autocut 27-2 mowing head and 2.4 mm line provides a large cutting diameter of 380 mm. From the ergonomic control handle you will find the Stihl Ecospeed function which allows for partial load control and increased run times – ensuring that the battery life is not wasted and lasts as long as possible.

The Stihl FSA 120 R cordless brush cutter is quiet and lower on vibrations and therefore is ideal for use in built up areas or noise sensitive environments such as outside schools and hospitals or housing estates. The quick-mounting system allows you to adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position but also means you can make adjustments if you need to work in more difficult conditions such as on slopes for example.

The powerful brushless EC motor is controlled from the handle, where you can adjust the speed to suit the job in hand, and this also ensures you never use more power than you need, preserving battery life as you work. The ECO mode is level 1 and this is ideal for simple trimming tasks such as trimming lawn edges, and uses less energy. The full speed mode (level 2) is perfect for trimming thicker grass but will of course use up more battery power.

Supplied with a basic harness for your safety and comfort, this Stihl FSA 120 R cordless brush cutter can be used with other Stihl cutting tools such as the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut and GrassCut cutting tools. Whichever one you select, you have peace of mind as this model comes with a 2 year domestic use warranty.

You can select different batteries to power this model but  Stihl suggests the AP300 as it is the recommended battery to power this machine – giving you around 30 minutes of run time, but these other batteries in the range can also be used.
